Summer is Coming!

If you are interested in volunteering for a few hours a week this summer, we would love to have you join us! Teen volunteers will be helping at children's programs, preparing crafts, folding brochures, decorating the teen area and more. Volunteer forms and additional information will be available later this month. Stay tuned!

Just a reminder...

The orientation meeting for teens who want to volunteer at the library this summer is next week Thursday, June 18th at 7:00. If you cannot be at the meeting but you are still interested in volunteering please let me know ASAP and we can make other arrangements.

Volunteer forms are still available at both the GCS media center and here at the library.

Volunteer This Summer!

Are you going into grade 7 or above this summer?

Do you like working with kids?

Do you have a few hours a week free to volunteer between June 29th and August 14th?

Volunteer opportunities include helping with and preparing for programs, folding flyers, monitoring children at events, and helping decorate for the reading program. If you are interested there is a one-hour orientation meeting on Thursday, June 18th at 7:00 p.m. Bring a calendar!

A big "Thanks" to all the teens who have been helping out this summer. It has been a HUGE help. Just a quick reminder about the BUG BLAST on Thursday, August 14th - if you are interested in helping out please let me know. You will need to be here from 3:00-5:00.

Only two more weeks to submit book reviews - read, read read! Multiple winners are drawn each week.
