Curtain Up! Acting Basics for Teens

Monday, August 10-Friday, August 14
from 3:00-5:30 pm

For teens entering grades 9-12

Instructor: Bettina DeBell

This week-long class will immerse young adults in the art of acting--addressing the essential principles of the craft and culminating in a public performance at the end of the week. Instruction will include audition tips, speech and movement exercises, and scene monologue study. This class is appropriate for teens looknig to explore their first theatrical endeavor through seasoned high school performers seeking to improve their skills. 


 Registration is required. Sign-up begins June 1st.

 Mrs. DeBell has served as the drama director at Geneseo Central School since 1993. She has directed and performed with the Livonia Community Players, the Geneseo Community Players, the Rochester Community Players, Blackfriars Theatre, Downstairs Cabaret Theatre, and JCC Center Stage.
