Teen Summer Reading Competition

What books are you enjoying this summer?

What books would you recommend to other area teens?

For each book that you read this summer stop by the teen area at the library and fill out a teen review/recommendation form. Return the forms to the "Beneath the Surface" jug located in the YA/Teen area.

Each week at least two review/recommendation forms will be drawn and prizes will be given. Let us know what books you loved and hated. Read a lot or read a little. You could win either way!

Prizes include movie theater tickets, iTunes gift cards,
cell phone holders, and more!

New for Teens!

Summer Theatre Workshop

Mondays 10:00-12:00pm

July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and August 5

For teens entering 7th-9th grades

This workshop is destined to introduce and expand the skill-sets utilized in the world of live theatre and musical theatre. Instructor Krista Benson (Masters of Music in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory) will be providing instruction on audition prep, selecting the "right" song, the importance of improv, proper breathing, utilizing resonance, and much more.

The workshop is FREE but limited to 15 participants. Registration begins June 1st. Please call Wadsworth Library at (585) 243-0440 to reserve your spot!
